Some of the best service in Atlanta
Chops is such a classy place. I ate at Chops recently with a party of 6 to celebrate a birthday. Chops is more the type of place to go on an expense account, but since they were having their special of 3 course meals for $29.99 we thought why not?
We were running about 15 minutes late getting there but they still accommodated us and were very friendly about it. We were seated promptly and all the courses came out within a decent amount of time. Half of our table had the Butterfish (my personal favorite) and half the table had the New York Strip (really the better the value of the 2). Everything was wonderful. But I will say that my favorite part of the meal was the crab fritter appetizer. I’m a crab cake conossieur, and I thoroughly enjoyed these crab cake-like items.
The service at Chops was really some of the best I’ve experienced in all my dining. The waiters were always checking on us to make sure everything was ok with our meal. My brother found a piece of paper in his crab fritter and they comped his entire meal – now that is good service!
Would definitely recommend Chops for special occasions for large groups and definitely on an expense account. Just keep in mind it does get somewhat loud in there, so probably not the type of place to celebrate and anniversary or romantic evening.
