Affordable Culinary Program in Continuing Education Paves Way for Success in Just over Half a Year

Have you ever thought of attending culinary school? Was it the cost or time that stopped you?  Then give this podcast a listen. We’ll discuss an 8 month culinary program located at Kennesaw State University that is under $10,000. Unlike many culinary programs, this one requires students to train at well known restaurants so they emerge with all the skills for a career in the culinary world.

Here’s some of the dishes we were treated to at the Chef’s Table (finale dinner that students prepare):

The intensive culinary program gives students all the capabilities to jump into the culinary world armed with the skills to succeed, whether that involves catering, restaurant ownership, food truck operation and beyond. I talked with the culinary school program director, Pam Moss and student turned food truck operator, Edgard Sanchez.

Edgard operates the popular Atlanta food truck, Cest Tout Bon 2 Eat, a New Orleans themed food truck. You can catch him at various spots around the Atlanta area. In the podcast, he shares with us why he loved the KSU Culinary Apprenticeship Program and how aspiring students can reap the most out of the culinary program.
