Little Alley Steakhouse, Buckhead, Atlanta, GA

Posted by

Located in the One Alliance building in the heart of Buckhead’s most posh space, is Little Alley Steak.

Disclosure: My meal at Little Alley Steak was complimentary

You have some idea of how pricey rents are in Buckhead, right? Most restaurant space isn’t huge given this fact. But Little Alley Steak took a different approach. A large patio area curves all the way around the restaurant, with comfy lounge seating late nights but also tables for dinner. Inside, seating is plentiful in the expansive space. Grab a seat at the bar to take in the nightly entertainment.

Lovely ladies entertain with trendy vocals

Crimson tufted booths line the walls, while dark wooden floors and tables soften the design. Eye catching light bulbs dangle from meat hooks above at Little Alley Steak. Besides the bar, there’s two dining areas on the main floor, plus an additional private room upstairs with its own bar as well.

Moi enjoying a Muddled Mission cocktail

An Orchard Square manhattan features ginger and apple brandy, which is different from a regular Manhattan, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Another signature drink at Little Alley Steak is the Muddled Mission with gin, St. Germain and muddled strawberry – refreshing, but the kind of cocktail that’s so easy to drink, you could down a few and and not know how tipsy you are until you stand up.

Ahi Tuna tartare with scallion pancake

The Ahi Tuna sitting atop a scallion pancake and cucumber salad even has a yuzu-serrano foam and avocado with it. Definitely a winning appetizer. I also tried the Wagyu meatballs at Little Alley Steak and encourage you to get them as well. Why? 1. Because Wagyu. 2. Meat is supplied by Linz – one of the top suppliers in the country. 3. The fragrant garlic chili vinaigrette that coats the meatballs.

Goat cheese salad at Little AlleySteak

Goat cheese and beet salad. Where to begin? It’s on like every restaurant menu, right. But I do love it. However, to my surprise, it’s quite different at Little Alley Steak than any other place I’ve ever had it. They compress the cheese and the beet cubes together for one complete “piece” which comprises the salad. It’s served with pork belly and pork jowel vinaigrette.

Center cut filet (wet aged 28 days) at Little Alley Steak

Both the filet and NY Strip (aged 45 days) lived up to the expectations, with the strip being a tad tastier. While Brussels sprouts are fantastic the charred broccoli wins because of the white anchovy vinaigrette drizzled on top of it.
