Sunday Funday: Eventide Brewing in Grant Park, Atlanta is full of games and terrific brews

Posted by

How do you do Sundays? Check out Grant Park’s Eventide Brewing if you like craft beer!

Unlike many of the larger breweries in town like Sweetwater and Red Brick, Eventide is a small brewery, but doing big things. A lot of their equipment was bought second hand and repurposed to build out what they have today.

Sundays are good for families to visit the Eventide Brewing, as we saw many there, but they don’t get in the way of adult fun. The children were well-behaved and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Sundays they have a Beermosas (Pale Ale and OJ), or Micheladas (Kolsch and Tomato Juice) which you can get and make to your liking. They start serving when the doors open, no need to wait until 12:30 like restaurants.

Although an IPA was good, The Citrus Grove wheat was my favorite, and by the looks of it nearly everyone else there that day. While enjoying the brews, you can play games outside like corn hole or darts inside.

Eventide Brewing is open for tours and tastings Wednesdays through Sundays. Wednesdays they are open from 6:30 to 9:00. Thursdays and Fridays, 5:30 – 8:30 and weekends, 12:00 to 4:00. Tours with tastings are $15.

Tip: If you visit on a Sunday like I did, make the short drive over to Ziba’s Bistro and stuff yourself with their delicious mussels. I got the Thai ones and they were amazing and so filling. It was the perfect way to end our Sunday Funday after visiting Eventide.
