Thanksgiving Dining Options Around Atlanta

While for many, the traditional Thanksgiving usually consists of a home cooked meal, around the family table, there are plenty of other great options in Atlanta to help shake up your holiday feast!

This year, many Atlanta staples are offering fantastic pre-fixed Thanksgiving meals. For traditional fixings, try Rosebud, who will be offering turkey, ham and all of your favorite sides. Adults are $44 and children are $20. $20 plates will also be served at the bar, for those celebrating stag this year.

The Shed at Glenwood will be cooking up a bevy of options including Gum Creek Farm Ham, Smoked Turkey, and Fried Springer Mountain Chicken, served with decadent sides like jalapeno grits, and zucchini and squash casserole to name a few. Adults are $50 and children are $20.

Both the Midtown and Vinings South City Kitchen locations will be doing Thanksgiving right this year, offering anything from turkey to pork loin, or fried chicken to shrimp and grits. Adults are $45 and children are $22.50. They also have a catering option if you’d prefer to eat in the comfort of your own home. The catering menu feeds eight people and comes to $35 a person.

Cibo E Beve is offering an Italian spin on Thanksgiving. Adults are $45, children 12+ are $20. The menu features unique twists on classics, such as butternut squash risotto, mac & cheese with caramelized onions and cranberries, and pumpkin pie panna cotta, all paired with turkey, ham, and salmon.

Some restaurants have opted to go a different route and will be offering Thanksgiving buffets. Check out long time favorite, Paul’s Restaurant in Peachtree Hills, for butternut squash soup, Berkshire sausage cornbread stuffing, and Cajun fried Tom Turkey, among other holiday favorites for $35 an adult and $15 a child.

For another great buffet option, head over to Livingston Restaurant + Bar in Midtown which will feature a hot and cold buffet, and two carving stations with slow roasted turkey breast and brown sugar glazed ham, and a dessert display for $50 an adult and $25 a child.

A couple of our favorite hotel restaurants are also offering Thanksgiving meals this year. Cook Hall at the W- Buckhead will be serving breakfast, an all day al la carte menu throughout the afternoon and evening, and great Thanksgiving specials starting at 2:00 pm. Just down the street, Shula’s 347 Grill at the Marriott – Buckhead, will offer sage rubbed turkey and pan gravy with all the fixings, pumpkin cheesecake, and much more, and all for just $25 per person.

While it’s fun to take the family out for dinner, as long as someone else is cooking, why not stay in? Many Atlanta favorites have great to-go and catering menus this Thanksgiving. Newcomer, Saltyard, is throwing their hat into the ring, with a fantastic menu, featuring Organic Heritage turkey, roasted brussel sprouts, homemade bacon-chive cornbread, and other classic sides you crave. Turkey is priced at $8.50/lb and each side is $24 and feeds 4-6 people. And of course, it wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without Black Tie BBQ’s famous smoked turkey, collard greens, cornbread stuffing, and other fantastic sides. A 14-16 lb. smoked turkey goes for $60 and most family style sides range from $35-40 each.

If you plan to prepare your own meal at home, but want to spruce up your baked goods and sweets selection, look no further than Theo’s Brothers Bakery, with locations in West Cobb and Alpharetta. Theo’s has got you covered with Thanksgiving rolls, breads, muffins, stuffing, pies, and desserts!

If you’re dining out, make sure to get a reservation on the books, pronto. And if you’re opting to order in, be sure to call and place your order today. After all, Turkey Day is just around the corner! Wherever you dine this Thanksgiving, make sure to save some leftovers. It wouldn’t be Thanksgiving without a turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce sandwich the next day! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy holiday.
