Though it is a sports bar, Industry Tavern, located in Buckhead’s Terminus building serves elevated pub food
Think house made gnocchi and sockeye salmon salad. Though the menus for lunch and dinner have quite a bit of overlap, there are some items you’ll want to visit at dinner for including the dishes mentioned above. Heartier specials like a Lobster Nachos and NY Strip are found on the dinner menu.
My visit found me at Industry Tavern on a busy hump day smack dab in the middle of lunch. Slammed doesn’t even begin to describe how busy this spot becomes at the noon hour. Your best bet is to visit for an early or late lunch or just go in the evenings. It is a favorite of local office workers wanting to get out of the office. Tip: No need to valet as the restaurant will validate your parking for two hours in the Terminus lot.
With a list of beers on draft, I opted for a Thai Wheat beer and the Quinoa salad as well as the Thai salad with kale, mandarin oranges, chicken and a delicious peanut dressing. The latter was the better of the two salads. Funny enough, our mains, pizza, came out before the salad. Not wanting them to get cold, we dug right in.
The first, named the Victory, for the pizza competition Industry Tavern won in Las Vegas several years ago is full of mushrooms, sausage and a buffalo mozzarella and its clear why it was a winner, even if I did need to add a bit of red pepper flakes. The second, a pesto and fennel sausage pizza was equally as delicious.
Pricing was good, with both pizzas being $14 each, there’s plenty to provide a filling lunch for two people. The salad was a nice bonus. Industry Tavern has daily drink specials along with a happy hour that lasts from 4:30 to 8 Mondays through Thursdays.
