Where to find holiday cocktails and more for Xmas in Atlanta

Miracle is back for another season in Atlanta. The big change is that there are now 2 locations:

Festive Holiday cocktails

Miracle on Monroe returns to the Midtown Promenade restaurant Tapa Tapa from now until Christmas Eve, December 24 and Miracle on Highland which is open through December 31.

The cocktail menu at Miracle includes a spiced Muletide (aquavit, sherry, ginger syrup, lime juice, and pumpkin pie soda) to the intensely flavored Santa-quila (reposado tequila, cacao nibs, sherry, maple syrup, and black walnut). More traditional drinks include the classic eggnog. Naughty and Nice shots will also be available – cinnamon bourbon and gingerbread-spices rye respectively.

Red Sky Tapas A Christmas Story themed pop up

Who says that if you are OTP you can’t join in on the Christmas pop up fun. Red Sky Tapas has remedied that with their own pop up. I’m guessing there will plenty of Instagram worthy Christmas opps, but I’m especially hopeful for the leg lamp. A Christmas Story is my absolute favorite Christmas movie!

Yebo Ski Haus festive drinks

As the only fully-transformed pop-up restaurant experience in Atlanta, Yebo Ski Haus will feature an updated menu and atmosphere reflective of a ski lodge. The restaurant will provide the ultimate winter pop-up experience in the heart of Buckhead. The pop-up restaurant fuses South African flavors with American cuisine, offering a spin on classic comfort dishes and seasonally themed drinks during the winter season (now through February)

Waffle Palace Christmas at Horizon Theatre

If you like your humor scattered, smothered and cover than this is the show for you (and your out of town guests)! This is the follow up to the Waffle Palace show from last year at Horizon Theatre, but if you didn’t see the first one, don’t fret, you’ll still get all the jokes and enjoy this show very much! It follows the zany antics of a 24 hour breakfast spot. I loved the Atlanta blunder references like “My flight was cancelled as the airport lost power. How does an airport lose power?”  This is a great option if you have guests and are looking to entertain them with some local flavor.

I love the intimate venue of the Horizon Theatre. No seat is bad and ticket prices are affordable. Tickets for Waffle Palace Christmas are $35 and the show runs through December 30th. I guarantee your family will love it whether they are from Atlanta or not! Looking for a dinner spot? I’d recommend Krog Street Market if you want to be a great host!

Santa’s Fantastical in Sandy Springs

Ooh you couldn’t get tickets to the Infinity Mirrors exhibit? Yeah, neither could I thanks to the greedy High Museum patrons who bought them all up and are now price gouging on Craigslist. No, I’m not bitter, I just decided to have my own Instagram worthy fun at Santa’s Fantastical instead.

There are a dozen different rooms at Santa’s Fantastical. Some feature live performances while others allow to get that perfect Instagram shot like Peppermint Palace, Unicorn Dreams, Retro Christmas, and Future Christmas. Tickets are $34 each and there are NO TICKET SALES ON SITE. So make sure to buy your tickets ahead of time.
