The home was remodeled by a professional design company as recent as 2020. Modern touches are everywhere you turn. Colors are bright and the decor is a modern lake chic if that makes sense. A downstairs master bathroom is spacious with a large tiled shower with stone floor. Navy and gold accent pieces are in the bathroom as well. Totally on trend. An upstairs is spacious as well with it’s private balcony overlooking the lake.

Not only are there six bedrooms, but there are two masters. So it’s perfect for multiple families or even couples looking to get away. The remaining guest rooms have queen beds, so it could potentially hold five couples. You’ll have to fight over who gets which master bedroom as this lovely cabin on Lake Lanier. If you’ve got kids in the mix, they’ll love the oversized bunk beds in the basement with an adjacent game room.
But the expansive kitchen opens to the family room as well as the large screened porch just steps away. Exit the porch and head down some steps to the large seating area with couches and a picnic table prefect for a family dinner.

Sure, it’s a lake house and your inclination is that summer and spring are the best times to visit. With lake at your footsteps, you can rent a boat, enjoy the kayaks provided, or just sit in the hammock.

However, I’ll tell you that visiting this Lake Lanier getaway, I was blown away at all the weekend activities we could do during fall. Luckily for us, even in October the weather was quite pleasant to be on the lake. But even if we didn’t enjoy boating on Lake Lanier, there was still plenty to do outdoors. Sipping coffee on a deck on a cool morning is one of my favorite ways to start the day.
The deck at this lovely Lake Lanier lake house offers the opportunity to grill up some perfect meals, enjoy a fire either on the screened porch just off the kitchen or while making s’mores in the fire pit just adjacent to the back deck. Or do both!
Note that everything is top notch here. Multiple coffee pots (Keurig in the basement with many choices) in addition to snacks, plus an even fancier coffee pot in the kitchen so no one has to wait for caffeine. Their logo is etched into the many wine glasses and they even leave s’mores starter kit for your gang. Though if you have a lot of people you might want to bring more. Plus, the outdoor gear is in perfect condition – kayaks, hammocks, fishing poles. They have such attention to detail, if it isn’t perfect they replace it.

Besides the ample dishes and plates, there are plenty of cutting boards , trays for baking and even cooking things like a slow cooker and instant pot. The pantry comes stocked with plenty of snacks as well. Bathrooms are stocked with more than the basics, even disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste.
While it may be hard to pick a favorite part of the house, the basement is definitely one of the coolest. It’s got everything for an entire family – a master retreat for the parents and a fun bunk rooms for kids. Even teenagers will have plenty of room to spread out on the huge beds. Besides the game room, there’s also a private outdoor seating area which sits just below the outdoor deck.

Speaking of game rooms, there’s a second, not so secret one and it’s in the garage! The owners were so smart to do this. It’s a vacation house so no one minds leaving their car in the driveway for a couple days. Rather than sit empty they turned it into the coolest game room. Not to be confused with the game room in the basement which has a card table and board games, THIS game room has arcade games, Air hockey and even a pool table. We played everything and it was an epic evening!
