Asian and Mexican flavors combine at Yumbii Tacos in Buckhead

Atlanta’s first food truck, Yumbii, with it’s bright blue and orange colors is isntantly recognizeable. Yumbii‘s street-food-inspired menu fuses Asian and Mexican flavors, is extremely popular in Atlanta. To that end, they’ve decided to open a brick and mortar restaurant in Buckhead.

Love their food trucks? Not to worry. Yumbii’s well-known, brightly painted vehicles will continue to pop up all over the city. But now they’ve got a restaurant for those near Buckhead. Set in Brookwood Village on Peachtree Road, this location is the first in a series of openings planned. The small, fast casual restaurant is just 1440-square-foot restaurant has a bright and modern look. In South Buckhead, Yumbii Tacos is located in the same center as CVS. There’s plenty of parking in the lot behind the restaurant.

Some favorites include panko-crusted fish tacos, Asian rib-eye Philly’s, spicy pulled pork sliders, and sides like sesame fries with sriracha cheese dip. Toppings include cucumber kimchee, hoisin-tartar sauce, soy sesame salad, and more. The restaurant has plans to introduce an expanded menu, with additional items like breakfast tacos, salads, Mexican-style street corn, and rice bowls.
