1. Visit the Georgia Aquarium (social distancing and mask wearing is enforced)
The Georgia Aquarium is one of the best places to visit in Atlanta. It was opened back in 2005 and it contains more than ten million gallons of fresh and salty water thus making it the largest indoor aquarium in the western hemisphere. The structure has more than 100000 creatures which include sea lions, sharks, dolphins and penguins to name a few.
2. Hike Stone Mountain (getting outside is one way to keep social distance in Atlanta)
Stone Mountain Park is a gorgeous carved stone. Even though it is a stone, it still has the name “mountain” and visitors flock here year round the hike. Of course you can remain socially distant when hiking. There are plenty of activities like the Laser show which happens during the warmer months, which features laser designs projected on the mountain all choreographed to music.

6. Have a drink at Park Tavern in Atlanta
After visiting Piedmont Park, you should grab a drink at Park Tavern. The Rink is usually open from 4:30 pm to midnight every Monday through Thursday. For Friday and Saturday, the closing time is extended to 2 am. You and your loved ones are going to enjoy a late-night adventure. Apart from drinking seasonal cocktails, you’ll get to watch movies, and grab festive eats.
7. Visit the Atlanta botanical gardens (outdoor fun that is socially distant)

This is such a cool venue in Atlanta! I visited when I was visiting Henry County which is south of Atlanta. I loved touring the venue even if there wasn’t a race going on when I visited. Due to COVID restrictions, tours may be on hiatus or limited to definitely check out the website to see what is happening. Atlanta Motor Speedway does have events like Monster Jam and Supercross. In an effort to maintain safety guests will have to get temperature checks and wear masks. But another thing that is really cool is the new pod seating that they are offering for these events.

13. Become a popular corn hole player in Atlanta (great for social distancing)
You can test your tailgate game experience this winter by entering the corn hole league that lasts for seven weeks. The weekly winter league takes place every Tuesday. Each team that competes will have the opportunity to win a championship trophy together with other prizes. If your team wins, you’ll get the opportunity to compete in a larger tournament that is more official.
14. Visit Splatter Studio in Atlanta for some socially distanced fun
For an experience that will invigorate you, you should visit the Splatter Studio at the Ponce City Market. This creative space allows visitors to test their creativity. And this includes getting splattered with paint. Each session lasts for one hour with adequate space for eight people to participate. Every participant will get a poncho, shoe cover, goggles, sterilized gloves, and access to paint to unleash their creativity and show the world what they are capable of.
15. Get a cozy cabin in North Georgia
