I love the resurgence of the fancy cocktails. Unfortunately, booze doesn’t do us any favors in the hydration department, actually dehydrating us. More and more individuals are choosing to abstain from alcohol for all different reasons. But who wants to sip on a boring calorie laden soda? Luckily for Atlantans, many restaurants have stepped up their game when it comes to creative mocktails. You’ve got plenty of non-alcoholic creative drinks to choose from.
Downtown Atlanta restaurants with amazing mocktails!
Alma Cocina – This downtown spot serves upscale Mexican cuisine and a luscious Cucumber Ginger Limonata to wash it all down.
Pitty Pattys Porch – This southern gem offers a Basil infused Greyhound made with basil syrup, lemon/lime juice, grapefruit juice, and club soda.
Shed at Glenwood – Love ginger? Then this ginger mocktail is for you! Lime, lemon, orange, cranberry juice, ginger simple syrup and ginger ale make a refreshing treat. Oh and the food is scrumptious too!
Marvelous mocktails at Midtown Atlanta restaurants
Tabla – their mocktails are just as impressive, if not more than the cocktails. Specifically, I was pretty mesmerized by the Kokum Spritzer. The syrup has a unique flavor of Indian spice similar to a Garam Masasla.
Buckhead spots with the best mocktails
Blue Ridge Grill – An alternative to the ever popular Moscow Mule is the Virgin Mint Mule with Ginger, muddled mint, club soda and a dash of lime juice.
Davio’s – Their Sparkling Peach Mocktail is perfect for those enjoying their lovely Buckhead patio. Made with peach sparkling cider and peach sorbet, it is a great treat for those visiting the Peach state!
True Food Kitchen– This Lenox Mall healthy dining restaurant makes creative drinks, with or without booze. Two we love? The Pomegranate Limeade and the Root & Remedy (both mocktails are pictured side by side at the top of this post). They taste as beautiful as they look.
Other locations in the Atlanta area for fabulous mocktails
No. 246 – When visiting Decatur try the Early Retirement mocktail here made with Hibiscus Syrup, Grapefruit, Lemon, Ginger beer.
Oak Steakhouse – Located in Alpharetta’s Avalon (shop / live / dine) district, The Shine on mocktail (pictured at the top of this post) made with beet juice, ginger beer and basil is incredible light and crisp.
Ocean and Acre in the newly opened Halycon is amazing too! I loved this fancy zero proof drink! It is called The Meadow and comes with seedlip citrus, orange shrub, japanese chili bitters and demerara citrus. How amazing does that sound?
